The Asialink Webinar Series will discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities regarding Australia's engagement in the Indo-Pacific and address key issues in the region as they occur. 
 
Join panelists and participants from the 'Building the Future Together' forum held in December 2022, to reflect on and review the recommendations from the conference and discuss what the future might hold for Australia-China relations.
 
This webinar will launch the report from the conference, which was co-hosted by Asialink, the Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies and Chancellery International at the University of Melbourne. 

Speakers

Dr Diane Hu - Research Fellow at the Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Melbourne, as well as ARC Research Gellow at the School of Social and Political Sciences. She is the Deputy Chief Editor of Australia Blue Book and is on the Board of Experts for China's NPC. 
 
Kevin Hobgood-Brown AM - Managing Director of HHK Advisory Pty Ltd, a corporate advisory firm focused on investment and infrastructure projects involving Australia and China. He is the Chair of the Board of the China Studies Centre at the University of Sydney and is the Chair of the Foundation for Australian Studies in China.
 
Dr Charis Teh - Victorian Cancer Agency Research Fellow at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. She has been recognized by the Australia-America Fullbright Scholarship, Superstar of STEM Awards and Most Influential Asian Australian Awards.
 
Professor QJ Wang - Professor of hydrological forecasting at The University of Melbourne and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
