Complete an EOI to participate in an interactive learning program designed for students in Years 9 and 10. Connect with peers across Victoria and countries in Asia and the Pacific to explore global citizenship, tackle local and global challenges, and develop leadership skills through dynamic, collaborative projects.
Learning outcomes
The Global Youth Forum program (Year Levels 9-10) supports students to:
Appreciate and understand what it means to be a global citizen
Identify local and global issues and determine the policies and systems which influence these
Strengthen awareness of their own biases and the biases of others and recognise that this awareness is needed to create cohesive communities
Identify and implement strategies to address differing views and behaviours, emphasising their impact on fostering social cohesion within both local and global communities.

Teacher Briefing via Zoom - Wednesday 2nd April 2025 (3.45pm - 4.30pm)
Student Briefing via Zoom - Thursday 24th April 2025 (12pm - 12.45pm)
Forums (Online)
Session One: Monday 28th April 2025 (9am - 3pm)
Session Two: Tuesday 29th April OR Wednesday 30th April or (9am - 3pm)
Session Three: Tuesday 6th May (9am - 3pm)
Face-to-face event (Victorian students only)
Friday 12th September (10am – 2pm)
A face-to-face session will be held at the University of Melbourne, Parkville campus, which will bring together Victorian students from the two Global Youth Forum cohorts. This day will connect students with youth leaders and changemakers through keynote presentations, interactive and collaborative activities and networking opportunities.
