The second event of the Asia and Pacific Outlook Series, this event is hosted by The University of Melbourne, The Australia-India Institute, CDAC, the VirtuCare Network and Asialink.

Emerging Leaders Forum - Primary – Years 5 - 6 Wed, 11 Sep 2024 | 11:00 AM (GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney The Emerging Leaders Forum (Primary) is designed for Victorian students in Years 5 and 6, offering chances for them to connect and collaborate with peers from around the world. Students will explore intercultural communication, collaboration and what it means to be a globally competent leader. The aim of the Emerging Leaders Forums is to provide earlier level curriculum entry points for Victorian schools, enabling them to embed global learning and engagement activities into their teaching, learning and student engagement initiatives. It also provides a learning pathway for engagement in the Emerging Leaders Forum - Junior Secondary for Years 7 and 8 students and the Global Youth Forum offered at Year 9 and 10 level. Throughout the program, students engage in a range of activities and regular breakout rooms in small groups with peers from other schools and countries. Education Program
