Australia Update 2024: The Energy Transition - The Indonesian and Australian Perspective Thu, 17 Oct 2024 | 09:30 AM (GMT+07:00) Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta Earlier this year, Australia and Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to mark the strengthening of energy transition cooperation and promote investment in energy infrastructure and clean energy manufacturing. The Australian Update 2024 will focus on the green energy transition, looking at areas for Indonesia-Australia collaboration. The main source of pollution in Indonesia is industry (32%) and transport (30%). Within industry, power plants are among the largest polluters, about 150 million tons of CO2 annually. So, the Australian Update 2024 will focus on the domains of transport and industry.

The aim of the Emerging Leaders Forums is to provide earlier level curriculum entry points for Victorian schools, enabling them to embed global learning and engagement activities into their teaching, learning and student engagement initiatives. It also provides a learning pathway for engagement in the Emerging Leaders Forum - Junior Secondary for Years 7 and 8 students and the Global Youth Forum offered at Year 9 and 10 level.
